In-Home Care is non-medical support services provided in the home of the senior. More than 8 million Americans are receiving some kind of home care support. The goal of home care is to allow seniors to remain home rather than enter an assisted living community, nursing home or another facility. Home care assists seniors with regular activities of daily living while allowing them to stay in the comfortable environment of their own home.
Common daily living activities which Advanta will assist include bathing, dressing, toileting/incontinent care, medication management, and meal preparation. In addition to these services, Advanta also performs light housekeeping, running errands, transportation for appointments, making appointments, and others. Just ask!
Home care services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The services can be paid for through public and private funding sources including Veteran Aid and Attendance pension and Long Term Care Insurance.
